2023 Daytime Emmy Awards Creative Arts & Lifestyle Winners List

The winners of the 50th annual Daytime Emmy Awards were announced Saturday by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). The ceremony was held at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. It’s one of several sets of Daytime Emmy Awards being handed out this weekend.

The awards show finally took place after the Hollywood strikes delayed it by six months. Hosts Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner emceed the event. This was the first awards show since the end of the strikes.

The biggest winner was the long-running soap opera “General Hospital,” which took home seven awards. “The Kelly Clarkson Show” followed close behind, nabbing six awards, including Outstanding Daytime Talk Series.

“José Andrés and Family in Spain” from Discovery+ won the Daytime Emmy for “Outstanding Culinary Series.”

The syndicated series “The People’s Court” was awarded the Emmy for “Outstanding Legal/Courtroom Program,” while “Wild Babies” from Netflix took home the award for “Outstanding Travel, Adventure, and Nature Program.”
